Recovery training

Are you looking to optimize your mobility, energy levels and focus? recovery training might give you that edge. This training is based around the principles of dynamic, kinetic and static breathwork and follow your natural wake and sleep cycle or circadian rhythm.

The Wake up routine

The Wake up routine is a dynamic breathwork workout in which we combine ancient breathing techniques with mobility training and kinetics. This workout provides a faster recovery and an awake feeling that stays throughout the rest of the day. In this workout, we begin with Tummo, a breath teaching from the Tibetan tradition. By balancing the breath with your movement you will recover faster from your workout and experience more energy and relaxation.

This workout takes place in the morning for a vital and powerful start to your day. Each training we will vary the exercises and work together on your strength, focus and calmness and create the foundation for a healthy morning routine. In addition to the exercises, we will focus on the theory behind the exercises so you understand how and why it works.

The Sleep in routine

The Sleep in routine is a training in which we combine old breathing techniques with kinetics. This training promotes better sleep, relaxation and recovery. In this workout the focus is on toning the vagus nerve, this will enhance your ability to control your heartrate and induce more relaxed bodily states. tHe training is finalized with a breathwork technique from the Tibetan tradition.

The vagus nerve is the largest nerve we have and this nerve connects the head to the heart and lungs. By balancing the breath within the body you learn to lower your heart rate and move from a state of calm, this contributes to faster recovery and deeper sleep.

This training takes place in the evening for a good night’s sleep and better recovery. Each training we will vary the exercises and work together on a healthy evening routine. In addition to the exercises, attention is paid to the theory behind the exercises so that you understand how and why it works.
